Adding up only the sourced lines for one person, sharing a double room, 3 nights: about $1,840 (ticket $695 + 3 × $150 hotel + 3 × $92 food + $419.49 average airfare). This is arithmetic on the lines above, not a quote, and it leaves out parking and getting to and from the track.

What kind of F1 Miami ticket do you need?

  • Grandstand tickets are sold for all three days, Friday to Sunday. There's no race-day-only grandstand ticket.
  • The cheapest ticket is the Campus Pass, which is general admission: you get into the circuit, the fan zones and the viewing decks at the top of Hard Rock Stadium, but no seat. Campus Passes for 2027 weren't on sale yet when the guide was written.
  • A Grandstand Pass puts you in a different stand each day (Marina, Turn 18 and Turn 1 North for 2027). It's named after the stand you sit in on Sunday, and it's a good pick for a first visit.
  • Tickets are e-tickets on Ticketmaster, with a separate ticket for each day.
  • There's no Sprint race in Miami in 2027.

Where to sit at the Miami Grand Prix

  • Turn 1: the outside of the first corner, one of the best places to see overtaking and the run down from the start.
  • Turn 18: close to the track, with Turns 17 to 19 and the pit entry in view.
  • South Beach (Turn 11): one of the cheaper grandstands, on one of the best overtaking spots on the lap.
  • Marina (Turns 6 to 8): fast corners and plenty of food and drink nearby, so it suits people who want a party.
  • North Beach: wraps around the inside of Turn 12 and has supporter sections for five teams.
  • Start/Finish: the grid, the pits and most likely the podium, so it's the place for the pre-race ceremony. It's usually the priciest stand, and there are better spots for the racing itself.
  • Shade matters in Miami. In most stands the higher rows are covered and cost more. Cheaper stands have benches; pricier ones have individual seats.

Getting to the Miami Grand Prix

  • The circuit is laid out around Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
  • Parking has to be bought in advance; you can't pay on arrival. The 2027 parking sale hadn't opened when we checked. In 2026, lots were assigned to your nearest gate and the parking pass was mailed to you.
  • Rideshare drops off and picks up only at off-site lots. From there it's a free shuttle or a walk of about 1.3 to 1.4 miles to the gates. The promoter warns of surge pricing and long waits.
  • Coming by train: ride Brightline to Aventura station, then take the free shuttle to the track (2026 info).
  • No camping, overnight parking or tailgating.

What to bring (and what not to)

  • Bags: a clear bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or a small bag up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches.
  • No coolers, no outside food or alcohol. You can bring an empty reusable bottle (up to 32 oz) and refill it at the free water stations.
  • It's cashless: cards only, including parking and food.
  • No umbrellas, chairs or selfie sticks, and no re-entry once you leave.
  • Children under 2 (or up to 34 inches tall) get in free but share an adult's seat; everyone else needs a ticket.
