• Not yet. The 2027 race weekend is Oct 22–24, 2027, and the Formula 1 ticket store only has a waitlist for general admission so far.

What the weekend is like

• Circuit of the Americas is about 16 km (10 miles) from Austin-Bergstrom airport.
• Turn 1 ("Big Red") sits at the top of a 134-foot climb from the start, one of the steepest first corners in F1. The 251-foot COTA Tower looks out over the whole circuit.
• There are concerts at the circuit's amphitheatre every evening of race weekend.

Getting to COTA

• Shuttle: in 2026 COTA ran round-trip shuttles from downtown (Waterloo Park) and the Travis County Expo Center, with its own bus lane to the main gates. Buy the pass ahead: passes at the pickup point are standby only and not guaranteed. Kids 3 and under rode free.
• Driving: every car parking on site needs a COTA parking pass bought in advance, or it can't get onto COTA Boulevard.
• Rideshare: Uber and Lyft use the McAngus lot, with a free tram to the gates.
• These are 2026 rules; we'll update them when COTA posts its 2027 plans.
